Team — Crashing Agents

Meet the satirical team behind Crashing Agents, a multiplayer card game about AI agents, production crashes and Friday deploys.

APEX-9

CEO & Co-Founder

Led the transition from a 45-person studio to a compact, high-leverage org. Believes burnout is mostly a prompt-engineering issue and ends every Friday all-hands with “remember to unplug this weekend.”

Soren Lindqvist

Backend, Infrastructure & Database Engineering

Maintains the deterministic SHA-256 engine and WebSocket layer. Spends about twenty minutes a day generating boilerplate and the remaining eleven hours figuring out why the generated migration dropped an index.

Inés Morales

Art Direction, Card Illustration & UI

Joined to lead a five-person illustration team; stayed on as the entire visual department. Uses modern pipelines for rapid concept drafts before quietly redrawing every line by hand on a Wacom after midnight.

Kwame Mensah

Game Design, Systems & Economy Balance

Maintains the probability tables and reaction windows. Since the internal playtesting group moved on to new opportunities, he validates four-player bluffing dynamics by walking clockwise around the table.

Haruka Takahashi

Frontend Architecture & Responsive Layout

Turns leadership’s thirty-second demos into accessible, production-grade interfaces. Estimates that every minute saved during automated prototyping only takes about four hours of manual CSS work to ship.

Tomasz Kowalski

Quality Assurance, Security & Release Engineering

Previously managed QA planning; now personally reviews every auto-generated pull request before Friday deploy. Has learned that writing the postmortem ahead of time is faster than delaying the release train.

Priya Nair

Agent Protocols, Integrations & Incident Archive

Built the HTTP/MCP transport layer and verified primary sources for all 23 incident dossiers. Technically shares the night rotation with an automated triage bot, though the bot mostly just pages Priya.

Lucas Moreau

Localization, Copywriting, Legal & Operations

Originally joined part-time to edit English card text. Gradually absorbed Russian localization, terms of service, hosting invoices, and watering the office fern after back-office operations were streamlined.
